Cause-A-Scene is Velvet Lenore’s fundraising night, and the format moves. One time it’s a drag showcase, the next it’s charity bingo, then an open mic or a talent showcase. Come for the show, stay for the cause.

The cause changes too, and it’s always a local one. One night it might be the Imperial Sun Court of All Florida, the next Suits, Stilettos and Lipstick, the next a school organisation.

It runs early, from six, so it’s done well before the rest of the Drive gets going.
