Karaoke here runs on KaraFun. There’s a QR code on the screens: scan it, find your song, add yourself to the queue. No sign-up sheet, no walking up to the booth, no waiting to catch anyone’s eye.

The queue isn’t strictly first-come. Xander moves the running order around so everyone who put a name in gets a turn, instead of the same three voices taking the night.

Sunday’s slot follows the afternoon session, so the room is already warm by the time the first song goes in.
